From the President .. … December 2005. 

It gives me great honour to be writing my first contribution on what has long been a dream and has now become a reality ….. the Exiles Sports Club website. I must first of all congratulate and thank committee member Mark Vassallo who took the bull by the horns and got down to all the preparations necessary to launch www.exiles.com.mt We intend to update the website on a regular basis with history and features but also with news from the club and from the local waterpolo scene.

This Winter has really got off with a bang as the committee is working on a number of fronts which we will update you about from time to time. You can see from the latest news that the highlight of our Winter plans is the much anticipated foreign trip to Holland by our Under 15 and Under 17 waterpolo teams, which will take place over the New Year, from 29th December till the 5th of January. We will be visiting our friends at ZPB Barendrecht waterpolo club and renewing old friendships dating back to 1991, when the first such exchange visit had taken place.

In the meantime, we are actively working on other issues such as embellishment of the Summer premises, lease running of the catering facilities, fundraising, an overhaul of the waterpolo pitch and preparation of our Senior team for Season 2006.
