Competitive waterpolo will start earlier for players of the Premier League teams when on the 2nd December, a Tournament under the auspices of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta will commence. The idea behind this event is for the National Team players to get match-fit for an important date in the Association’s calendar – a two-leg qualifier against Belarus, the winner of which will book a berth in next year’s European Water Polo Championships being held in Barcelona in summer.
Malta plays its first leg away on the 24th February 2018 and a week later on the 3rd March, Belarus is hosted at the National Swimming Pool Complex at Tal- Qroqq.
Exiles will participate in this tournament together San Giljan, Neptunes, Sliema Sirens,Valletta and Ta Xbiex.
