Last Sunday 30th April 2017 was a red letter day for Elena Borg when she was awarded the  Lady Waterpolo Player of the year for 2016 season. The Presentation was made by the ASA President Joe Caruana Curran  before the final match of this year’s Premier Waterpolo Winter League organized by the Association between San Giljan and Sliema.

Elena has been practicing this fascinating sport since her early teens and is today an automatic choice in the women’s national team waterpolo. The honours won by the Exiles’ women Waterpolo team owe it in part to Elena’s valid contribution.

The Club Committee would like to congratulate Elena on her achievement and wish her success for the future together with the rest of her team mates.
