Current League co-leaders San Giljan had to exert themselves to keep away their opponents when earlier tonight they beat Exiles 19-12 in an open encounter which resulted in a handful of expulsions on either side.
The final result gives the impression that it was a stroll for the Saints however, Exiles managed to stay in the match well into the fourth session when San Giljan found the net on four occasions without reply – enough to seal the issue 17-9 with just under four minutes to the final horn. Exiles reacted again to reduce the gap to six but in the dying seconds San Giljan scored their 19th and final goal to win the points.
