Sunday afternoon’s lull was broken yesterday when sixty young boys and girls accompanied by their parents swarmed the National Pool at tal-Qroqq for an open day. Staff of the Aqua Academy welcomed these new faces, provided the gear and equipment related to waterpolo and patiently took care of the children for two solid hours of real fun.
This event was held following a heavy promotional campaign launched on the social media and will serve to possibly add to the current number of children attending the Academy which is in its second year of operation. Michelle and Gordon Zammit commented positively on the encouraging turnout and the success of the same open day and did not exclude the holding of further similar events in the future.
