When the draws were made yesterday at the ASA Headquarters at the National Pool Complex for this year’s Winter Waterpolo League, Exiles were pitted against favourites San Giljan when both sides meet on Saturday the 17th March at 16.15 hours.
Exiles will then play Neptunes (23rd March), Sirens (27th March) Valletta (4th April) and Sliema (14th April).
This year’s Winter League attracted ten participating clubs which will be split into two groups; the Premier Division made up of six teams with the remaining four clubs taking part in the First Division.
The top two teams in the table at the end of the one round being played, qualify for the semi-finals whilst the four clubs in the Premier play on a knock-out basis for the remaining two berths in the final four.
