Twice Exiles’ waterpolo player of the year for 2015 and 2016, Kurt Griscti has been called by National Coach Karl Izzo, to form part of a team styled Valletta which will take part in a qualifying quadrangular tournament being held at the National Pool Sports Complex over the week-end between Friday 30th September and 2nd October. The other three foreign teams competing to move to the next round of the Champions League are KS Arkonia from Poland, Steaua Bucharest of Romania and PVK Jadran Herceg Novi of Montenegro.
It is the National Coach’s aim to rope in promising youngsters into this experimental team.
Next month Kurt ties the knot with Kirsten and we wish him luck on both events.
