Whilst the Exiles’ Men’s team is faring well in the Premier Waterpolo League, the Ladies team under the guidance of their coach Gordon Zammit are actually doing better with five straight wins from the five matches played so far.
A crucial match awaits the Girls on the 24th August when they meet at home, arch-rivals and current champions Sliema.
The final scores of the matches played so far clearly indicate that only Sliema can dent Exiles’ chances
vs San Giljan 17-5 and 14-2
vs Neptunes 9-4 and 24-11
vs Sliema 7-5
With a fortnight to the clash, the team is concentrated on the build-up and preparation by playing B’Bugia on the 14th August in a league match and Neptunes in the Knock-Out semi-final tie on the 16th August.
