Exiles Sports Club announced that former Neptunes stalwart Michele Stellini has signed for the Club.
The Reds’ product, who came back from retirement announced at the end of the 2015 summer season, has joined the Exiles squad for one season.
Michele is 34 years old and has had stellar career having won several honours at the top level of the local waterpolo, including seven league titles, five knock-outs trophies, eight winter leagues, seven President’s Cup editions, five Sportwriters’ Cups, and thirteen years of calls with the National waterpolo team between 2003-2015 in which he formed part of the silver medallist team at the 2013 Commonwealth Championships held in 2013 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Michele’s signing for the first team will undoubtedly boost to the Club’s potential of improving its position in the Premier Waterpolo sphere.
The President and Committee of the Club welcome Michele Stellini to the Exiles family and hope his stay will be a positive one.
