Last night Exiles Ladies team put their hands on the coveted trophy as League Champions for the first time when they disposed of a young B’Bugia side 15-5 in a match played at the Club home pitch decorated for a festive mood to mark the clinching of the title.

Prior to the start of the encounter both sets of players and officials and referees were introduced to the crowd present. At the end of the match, Mr Peter Perotti Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta plc – the main sponsors of all the main domestic waterpolo leagues in the presence of Joe Caruana Curran ASA Chief, presented the medals to all the Exiles squad and the cup to Exiles Skipper Elena Borg.
