Christmas Spirit at the Pace Lupis

Once agian Francis Pace Lupi kept his annual appointment with the Festive Season by building the traditional Christmas crib at his residence in Tower Road Sliema. The project which started more than ten years ago consists of a village depicting the life 2015 years ago. Over the years several features were added to his original version and besides the statues, Francis managed to fit branches, twigs, pebbles and pieces of rock of various shape and size. Every bit in the crib has its own anecdote of how it found its way there.

Traditionally, the Club Committee’s last meeting of the Calendar year is hosted by Moira and Francis and members of the same Committee take the opportunity of admiring this work. It is indeed worth having a glimpse.
