Exiles disappoint and lose to Valletta

Valletta United 8 Exiles 5

(3-3) (2-1) (3-0) (0-1)

Exiles failed to continue where they had finished in their previous clash against San Giljan with a disappointing display yesterday morning against 2013 Second Division Double Winners Valletta. More was expected after the close encounter against the Saints, but the team, save one or two elements failed to rise to the challenge of the Whites who nosed ahead  in the third session scoring three goals without any reply, to take the points.

Scores for Exiles were Julian Rizzo Naudi who scored a hat-trick and Simon Vassallo and James Spiteri Staines.

Our next match is scheduled for Saturday the 3rd May against Sirens at 15.30 hours.
