Exiles Ferretti and Sirens fight it out for their first points

Exiles Ferretti and Sirens Ritter Sport cross swords today, each one hoping to open their points tally for the season. With both teams having played three games each (against Neptunes, Sliema and San Giljan) and lost all three both will be looking at this game as an opportunity to register their first win.

Exiles are coming from a very good showing against San Giljan last Friday, where they lost 17 – 14 having led by three goals midway through the fourth session. Some controversial decisions penalised Exiles in that crucial part of the game.

On the other hand, Sirens were pipped at the very last second by a disappointing Sliema who ran out 10 – 9 winners in the game on Saturday which saw the team from St Paul’s Bay leading almost all the way and surely deserving something from the game.

Exiles welcome Montenegran International Aleksandar Radovic who is available for selection for this game, which means that coach Aurelien Cousin will have to choose two between Radovic, Vojisalv Cupic and Romain Blary……Aleksandar-Radovic-u5 Aleksandar Radovic

…. not an easy task seeing the form of Blary and Cupic so far. Incidentally this would be Blary’s last match as he leaves on the 1st of July
