A much improved and disciplined Exiles side had to bow to an erratic Neptunes side when both teams met earlier this evening with the Reds winning by a seven-goal margin for a final score of 14-7. Dorian Pisani’s tactics were effective in the first two sessions as Neptunes could only build a two-goal advantage (6-4) before they changed gear in the third session (5-1) to distance away from Exiles for a partial score of 11-6. In the last quarter Exiles managed to keep the pace with their stronger opponents but lost the session 2-3.
The following players were utilized – Ian Bugeja, Julian Rizzo Naudi, Simon Vassallo, David Pace Lupi (1 goal), Daniel Borg Millo, Edward Gravina, Sean Gravina, Kurt Griscti (1 goal), Nicky Paris, Andrea Bianchi (2 goals), Milos Vukicevic (2 goals), and Kayne Lanzon (1 goal).
Man Ups: 5 for Neptunes 3 converted 2 missed with one penalty awarded and converted; 3 for Exiles 2 converted and 1 missed.
