Exlies Ladies Waterpolo team failed to clinch the Section Double when yesterday evening they lost  6-9 to Sliema at Exiles Pitch to crown neighbours champions for 2015.

There was great expectation for this match after a few days earlier, Exiles beat the Blues 10-9 in the Knock-Out final played at the National Pool but it was not to be as our Girls had to beat their opponents by at least 4 goals to tally the same number of points and win the League on a better goal differnce, having lost in the first round.

Last night’s defeat does not mar a memorable season for Coach Gordon Zammit who steered the team towards its first ever success in the Club’s history.
