A depleted Exiles side was strong enough to overcome an young but promising Marsascala Ladies team when both sides met at Exiles Pitch last Thursday the 5th September for the last league match of the season for the home side.

Coach Gordon Zammit took the opportunity of drafting in his team more young girls who paid him back with a comfortable win (15-0) and a deserved send-off to a superb waterpolo season which has just folded.

After the final whistle, Mr Charles Azzopardi, Executive PR & Marketing at Bank of Valletta  presented the BOV Women’s League Trophy to skipper Mikela Zammit and medals to the rest of the victorious team in the presence of Ms Rita Azzopardi, General Secretary of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta.
