When the draws were made yesterday evening at the ASA Headquarters at the National Pool Complex, Exiles were pitted against Sliema in the first match of this year’s Summer Premier Waterpolo League which starts on the 6th June. The Blues finished second in the Winter League which came to a close on the 30th April with a commended tactical approach which eventual winners San Giljan could not shake off. In the direct clash between Exiles and Sliema, the latter emerged winners by three goals (7-4) in a balanced match which saw Exiles maintain the pace with a better outfit. Details of the rest of the fixtures to be made by means of an update in the next few days.
