First win in last Premier match

Exiles broke the duck in their final match against Valletta United when earlier tonight they beat the Citizens 13-11. It was  a ding-dong battle with Exiles practically always in the lead except for a short spell in the third session when Valletta nosed ahead by a goal (7-8). It was a collected effort by the boys and the hand of Exiles mentor,Maurizio Mirarchi was evident to finally leave the Pool with the three precious points even though as far as the final classification, there was nothing at stake except the satisfaction and pride. Tonight’s result augurs well for the play-offs against the winner of the first division which has yet to be determined.

Well done to the lads

A detailed report is to follow shortly.
