In the first match of the Relegation Deciders between Exiles and Marsascala played last Saturday 29th August at the National Pool, Maurizio Mirarchi’s Boys had no problem in pushing aside the Southerners’ resistance when they soundly beat them 18-4. It was indeed a one-sided affair as our opponents took the water shorn of their two foreign players which were substituted on the match card with very young players but were not utilized. Exiles’ Coach also gave Romain Blary a rest whilst Marco Cuk who scored another 9 goals, masterminded the team to an easy win. Liam Galea and Steve Galea Pace made their debut for Exiles whist Philip Paris added more minutes to his playing time.
Tonight both teams meet again at 18.15 hours for their second encounter.
