Exiles suffered another defeat at the hands of Sirens who had better ideas and sharp thinking when earlier this afternoon, the teams met for the final classification for the 4th to the 6th place in this year’s Winter Waterpolo Premier League organized by the ASA of Malta.
After a balanced first two sessions (3-3), Sirens forged ahead and never looked back to increase their lead by four goals (7-3) before Exiles scored their only goal in the third and fourth quarters. The team showed signs of fatigue during the second part of the match with the players making evident mistakes especially in defence. The attacks were sterile and the finishing was poor to say the least.
More details on the match to be provided in due course.
