The President of the Club and  the Committee Members welcome back to Malta and to the Exiles family, Marko Jelaca who flied in tonight 7th June to join the Premier League Waterpolo team for this summer’s season  which starts next Tuesday the 11th June. Marko had visited Malta in 2016 and 2017 when he played for Gozitan side Otters.

Marko has just finished a stint with Serie A team CC Ortigia of Syracuse and was instrumental in helping the Sicilian team place 5th at the end of the regular season to book a berth in the ‘Final Six’ stage before being eliminated in the Quarter-Final 7-10 by CN Posillipo.

Next season, the 36-year old Croat but nationalized Georgian international player will join, for a two-year contract,  Dinamo Tiblisi  who are coached Revaz Chomakidze  – a familiar face in the Exiles’ circles.
